F1 first, V8 Supercars second, NASCAR nowhere?
Yas Marina Circuit Chief Executive Officer, Richard Cregan, said it was
vital the Abu Dhabi circuit secured the V8 Supercars because it ranks
behind only the Formula One series on a global motorsport level.

You’re talking about “global” stuff, so I think you meant G8 Supercars (like the summit meetings)!
G8s may well rank behind Formula 1, but don’t forget that Formula 1 ranks behind NASCAR
