Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge
The tough do tuff truck challenge is a racing event running across the Australian continent. This was previously known as the tuff truck racing. This event was organized initially by an organization named All Terrain 4WD Club which is shortly called as AT4. The idea of conducting such an event came from the four wheel drive enthusiasts who were part of that club during the year 2001. The four wheel drive tuff truck racing did not pull crowd support at the very beginning but as days rolled by and the event was modeled in an exciting and thrilling way which is pulling a crowd of 6000 to 7000 currently. It all started with a 20 teams which has grown upto 40 teams in the last decade.
The tough dog tuff truck challenge has become one of the most followed events happening in the parts of Australia and around it. This has become one of the biggest racing events of Australia right next to the Formula One at Albert Part and the V8 Supercar Challenge which has been a revelation from the year 2000 onwards.
The metal crunching and axle bursting tuff truck racing is always a treat to watch and sure to raise your pulse. You may be from different part of the world but the four wheel tuff truck driving challenge is a complete new world for you and takes racing to a all new level. Those monster trucks are some of the giants which people fear to go nearby but to see them race at speed is always a scary thing.
The spectators spend days watching these racing events. The tough dog tuff truck challenge is driven even in nights as well as in day time. This makes the viewer ship grow more and people spend late night watching the exhilarating racing.
The tough dog tuff truck challenge is conducted once in a year which makes it even more exciting and important for four wheel drivers. It is conducted in the infamous Hunter Valley which is located at Milbrodale. The timing of the event is always two weeks prior to Easter which makes the holiday calendar to become more fun filled and joyous.
All the four wheel drive tuff truck are custom made with tractor tyres and V8 supercar engines. The monster look of the truck can never be matched by any other racing cars. The cars are made following the rules and restrictions laid by the Four Wheel Drive Terrain Club and every truck is given equal riding speed and the weight of the truck is made uniform to have a uniformity in racing and speed. The race track is around 5kms in running area and is set to provide some of the toughest conditions for racing. The racing teams are provided with one tuff truck and two drivers to handle the driving pressure. The winners are awarded with $100,000 as prize money which makes the race even more exciting and pulse raising.
