Hamilton Supercars

Are There Any New Zealanders on here??? Perferably from around Hamilton??
We are looking to go over to Hamilton from Australia next year for the V8 Supercars.
We are having SO much trouble finding a hotel, to care for us.
I have 5 children (who will be 1,1,3,3,5) all who will be coming, so we need room for them, plus 2 adults. I don’t really care how much it is, but we don’t need something overly priced.
I’d also like a kitchen in the room. But am totally happy with a Bed & Breakfast with a restaurant close.
Just something close to the race.
And does anyone know any good places to visit (apart from the V8′s). We will be there for 2-3 weeks.
Thanks
well i live exactly in hamilton, and let me see there is alot of hotels here
as for places too go, well Hamilton the actual city does not have much attractions, i moved her a year ago from wellington and it was a big change, considering there is hardly anything too do unless you have money or you are a youth. the places that would be too go, is Hamilton gardens which is very popular with tourists and people visiting Hamilton, it is numerous gardens from around the worlds.
then the museum which is pretty small but still have a look, and yea those are the only places i could think of, then the rest is just shopping malls and stuff. also once you arrive you do not need to worry about transport too the v8′s because for the whole 3 days the events are on all public transport is free to town, all the buses are free those 3 days too get to town, where the v8′s are, and also a few days before the events there is the Hamilton balloons which is a sight too see, there is the morning balloons which are hot air balloons that take flight off in the morning, then there is the balloons by light at the local university, which is very popular also transport is free to and from there on the buses. It is the hot air balloons are lighted up at night, then there is a few carnival rides, some fireworks and alot of people attend it.
