It was a difficult time for the automotive industry since the recession has sunk its claws in deeper with each passing month, 2009 is back?

No one industry to rest on their laurels, there is some great cars launch to keep an eye out for next year with something for all tastes and budgets. Here are five of those I'm excited.

New Seat Exeo. To be honest, I've never given much attention mark or consideration. However, as belts are tightened, this can be a prosperous year for the Spanish automaker Seat especially with the new Exeo. Since its first issue at the Paris Motor Show in 2008, the Audi "in resistance" has met with great praise from the press and is certainly an interesting idea: Audi reliability of a Spanish style and the price of the seat.

Far from seeming like something cheap and flimsy, this is a solid, handsome looking motor. The proof will be in the pudding, but if you have this right, could be the great success of 2009.

New Ford Focus RS. With its bright green paint, taking over from his garish orange predecessor, the new Ford Focus RS is not going to sit quietly and unnoticed in traffic. But that's not what this is, it is.

Since the seats sculpted bucket for the 300hp engine, aggressive styling and performance is plenty of it, at a low price. This is a screaming monster of a hot hatch which will surely put a smile on a lot of drivers faces even if Gordon Brown remains the destruction of our future revenue and is likely to deliver a slap in the face a few Evos and STIs in the road.

One thing is certain, you're not sure it's going to have to look far to see this.

New Renault Laguna Coupe. What? A Laguna? Exciting?! Well, yes. I know there's a bit of an unreliable history of attempts to make a hatchback coupe – Calibra anyone? – And the new Renault Laguna is not exactly a beauty in the French league Laura Thomas but has not been too successful, look at the Peugeot 407 coupe.

Here the French have withdrawn all stops and poured some elegant, smooth throughout the new Laguna Coupe. They have even fallen into the 3.5-liter V6 in the Nissan 350Z that means this puppy are established quality of the Laguna, a stonker of an engine and allow it, face it, some looks beautiful. If only I had followed your hands on the control switch style When deciding the size and where to dump the Renault badge.

This is a company in dire need of a comeback, so I hope the new look and new Laguna Megane Coupe do the job. I want one. In fact, I do.

As hatchbacks and coupes lounges, classrooms must be coupes? The Aston Martin Rapide could have been style disaster along the lines of the Porshe Panama. Instead, in good old English way, Aston successful. We really really have joked with him too, but at the end of this year the car is finally starting. They have taken the famous Aston Martin and unquestionable style and sprinkled with love over a pair of doors and delivered what is without doubt the most beautiful saloon likely to hit the roads.

Since this is an Aston Martin is guaranteed that the engine will also be an absolute Belter – a 6.0 liter V12 in fact – and the price to be a little on the strong side – expect around £ 150,000 of the mark – but is a magnificent evolution of the brand.

Since the need for more environmentally friendly cars is increasing, Honda is ready to launch the second generation of the initially flawed and no penetration hybrid. Another who made his debut in 2008 Paris Motor Show, the new Honda Insight is a dramatic improvement in the looks on the first generation Toyota Prius and oh-so-sufficiency. The strange thing for me is that all innovations in style, gorgeous curves and lines, that's just crazy Ford Focus RS, which seems to speak of nothing but silver, black or white. I really hope that the new Aston is available in British Racing … however, that much can be a little green too.
